The Annual Farmers’ Day Celebration which falls on every First Friday of December since 1984, was celebrated to remember the work hard of gallant farmers from across the country. Last year’s was celebrated on 3rd December. Juaboso District in history celebrated the District Farmers’ Day at Agyemandiem in the Benchemaa Nkatieso Electoral Area. The Theme for the celebration was “Planting for Food and Jobs–Consolidating Food Systems in Ghana” ” The programme was marked with a colourful durbar of chiefs, queen mothers, farmers, fishermen, market women and traders.
Various awards were given our gallants farmers who worked assiduously to ensure that, foods become abundance in the District and the nation as a whole.
