The social Welfare and community Development Department of the Juaboso Assembly has disbursed some Hens and Cash to persons with disabilities at the Community Centre Juaboso on 6th June day of 2023.

The total amount for both cash and Hens disbursed was GHS (80, 000) to 55 persons with disability (PWDs) in the Juaboso District to assist in their education, Health and improve their living situations.

The items included deep freezes, industrial sewing machine, Fufu pondering machines and cash donations for income generation activities.

The District Chief Executive Hon. Godfred Kwabena Agyei encouraged the beneficiaries in a brief address to use the money and goods for the purposes for which they were meant to get the necessary benefit.

The District Director for social Welfare and Community Development Mr. Lawrence Amofa cautioned them to use the cash and Hens for their intended purposes to gain benefits from it and not see themselves as less privileged.

Along with the District Chief Executive, Mr. Emmanuel Esiape, the District Coordinating Director, Affum Kroko and Maxwell Quansah.
