I am highly honored to be part of the 39th edition of the National Farmers Day Celebration, more especially, in the company of men and women whose labor feeds us, cloth us, keep us alive and eventually contribute significantly to the development of the nation.
Nana chairman, with all these contributions and vital roles our hardworking farmers and fishers play, they deserve a resounding celebration.
Nana chairman, Farmers have the responsibility to provide food to feed the growing population without adverse effect on our environment. That is why I find this year’s theme for celebration “Delivering smart solutions for sustainable food security and Resilience” very appropriate. Let me congratulate all farmers especially the awards winners in ensuring food security for our maintenance as a whole. Together we say ‘Ayekoo’.
